Amazing wee hide away central to everything, we stayed in a beautiful wee ensuite and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful owners! Will definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks heaps for our wonderful stay.
Nice clean room and bathroom with good shower in good central location near train station and very quiet
Shower in the room very unpredictable and either too hot or lukewarm. Apart from that very warm welcome from the owner who was very lovely.
If youre ever staying in Galashiels, avoid the Watson Lodge Guesthouse like the plague. You can book any room you like seven weeks in advance, but they allocate them on a first-come, first-served basis. And they only have one double. So having booked a king with an en suite on the 28th August, were staying in a room with three single beds and an en suite.No toiletries and decor from the 1970s. Wardrobe is 6 inches deep. I have literally stayed in better tents.
Great value for money guest house, nice room and a good breakfast. Ideal stop over on our bike trip. Would book again.
