Our tour group stayed at the Maplehurst Boutique Guest House for 3 nights, room was large and comfy extremely well decorated and all amenities like coffee, tea, water, snacks available in room. Our hosts where very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, you could order what you wanted the day before and it would be prepared for you. I really enjoyed our stay.
What a hidden treasure, fantastic rooms, very warm welcomes, and unbelievable food. A great base from which to visit the Scottish Borders.

Amazing place. Peter and Silke cant do enough fir you. The quality of everything from the garden to the bathroom is first class and to the highest standard. Cant fault anything.
I loved this guest house, it is beautifully furnished with period features and decorative items, large rooms with lots of extra special touches, like hotels used to provide. The room and wet room were spotlessly clean and modern, sumptuous surroundings, very relaxing, friendly hosts - Peter and Silke. Superb breakfast, real freshly squeezed orange juice and home baked bread fresh that morning fabulous choice of cooked b/fast and eggs, porridge was delicious. All beautifully presented of five star+ hotel standard. We will definitely come back and would recommend highly.
